Volker Schöppner has studied at the University of Paderborn. He graduated as Dipl.-Ing. in 1989. He worked as research associate while he wrote his PhD thesis in 1995. Afterwards he worked as research engineer and wrote his “Habilitation” in 2000. From 1999-2007 Volker Schöppner was hired in different positions at one company. Since February 2007 Schöppner has been professor for polymer engineering at the University of Paderborn.
