IAB Assessors are Experts of the IIW-IAB qualification and certification systems and are responsible for assessing ANBs and ANBCCs against the IIW-IAB Rules.

Assessment teams under the authority of Lead Assessors make the assessment of ANBs/ANBCCs. 

Group B elects Lead, Peer and Distance Learning Assessors.

The IAB Board on recommendation of IAB Group B approves the appointment of Lead, Peer and Distance Learning Assessors.
